History
Since its inception, the Political Science study program at Udayana University is expected to produce human resources that are reliable, superior, independent, cultured and possess political scientific qualifications. For a more specific reason, Bali is a strategically known area where associations and seminars with scientific themes related to politics at regional, national and international levels often appear, so that the presence of the Political Science study program will be able to contribute to scientific development, especially in the field of political science, as well as an ideal learning tool for students.
This inaugural student in the Political Science Study Program was obtained through the Penelusuran Minat dan Kemampuan (PMDK) admissions route, which was in 2011. At the beginning of its operation, the number of students in the Political Science study program in this batch were 6 students and came from the Provinces of Bali and outside the province of Bali. In the following academic year, new students of the Political Science Study Program at Udayana University came from admissions through the National Selection of State University Students (SNMPTN), Joint Selection for State University Entrance (SBMPTN) and the Independent Pathway of Udayana University. The number of students in the Political Science study program has significantly increased in quantity so that in the current year, 2020, there are around 70 students.
