Denpasar, Sunday, August 17, 2025  — The Political Science Study Program, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP), Universitas Udayana, extends its warmest wishes on the occasion of the 80th Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia.

Indonesia's Independence Day is an important moment to reflect on the nation's long journey in achieving and preserving independence. Eight decades of independence serve as an opportunity to strengthen national unity, uphold the spirit of togetherness, and work collectively toward a better and more just future for all.

At the age of 80, Indonesia continues to demonstrate its remarkable cultural richness, diversity, and potential as a nation. This diversity is a valuable strength that must be preserved and developed through unity, innovation, and collaboration.

Young people play an important role in continuing the ideals of independence. As the next generation, they are expected to uphold national values, foster innovation, and contribute to advancing social justice and inclusive development.

This Independence Day also reminds us that Indonesia's progress is a shared responsibility. Through unity, mutual cooperation, and collective efforts, all elements of society can contribute to building an Indonesia that is strong, inclusive, sovereign, and globally competitive.

Let us continue to uphold the spirit of independence and move forward together toward a more prosperous and hopeful Indonesia.
