Denpasar, Tuesday, October 28, 2026. The Political Science Study Program, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP), Universitas Udayana, extends its greetings on the occasion of Youth Pledge Day.

Youth Pledge Day, commemorated every October 28, serves as an important moment to reflect on the spirit of unity and national awakening among Indonesian youth. The commemoration recalls the commitment of young people during the national movement to strengthen unity as an important part of Indonesia’s struggle for independence.

The spirit of the Youth Pledge remains highly relevant for today’s younger generation. Amid Indonesia’s rich diversity, young people have a strategic role in maintaining unity, fostering dialogue, and developing ideas and innovations that contribute positively to society.

Within the academic environment, this spirit can be manifested through the development of knowledge, critical thinking, collaboration, and active participation in social and community activities. Young people are expected not only to respond to change but also to become active contributors to creating positive change.

Let us make Youth Pledge Day a meaningful moment to strengthen unity, foster the spirit of creativity and innovation, and make meaningful contributions to the nation and our beloved homeland.
