The Political Science Study Program, Universitas Udayana, extends its warmest wishes to the entire academic community and extended family of Universitas Udayana on the occasion of the Commemoration of Isra’ Mi’raj of Prophet Muhammad SAW 1447 AH.

Isra’ Mi’raj is one of the significant events in Islamic history, carrying profound spiritual values and lessons. The journey of Prophet Muhammad SAW serves as a meaningful reminder to continuously strengthen our faith, deepen our devotion, and draw closer to Allah SWT.

More than simply an extraordinary journey, Isra’ Mi’raj teaches us the importance of maintaining a strong relationship between human beings and their Creator. One of the central messages associated with this event is the obligation to perform salat (prayer). Salat holds an important place in the lives of Muslims as a means of drawing closer to Allah SWT, seeking guidance, and finding peace and strength in navigating life.

The commemoration of Isra’ Mi’raj also provides an opportunity for self-reflection. Amid various academic activities, professional responsibilities, and everyday life, we are reminded of the importance of maintaining a balance between worldly responsibilities and spiritual life.

For the academic community, the values reflected in Isra’ Mi’raj can serve as a reminder to carry out every responsibility with honesty, discipline, sincerity, and integrity. These values are expected to be reflected in the learning process, research, community engagement, and efforts to foster harmonious relationships within the academic environment.

Let us make the commemoration of Isra’ Mi’raj 1447 AH a meaningful moment to strengthen our faith and improve ourselves. May salat always become our daily “Mi’raj,” a moment when our hearts return to Allah SWT, our souls find peace, and we gain the strength to face various challenges in life.

May the exemplary life and teachings of Prophet Muhammad SAW continue to inspire us to spread kindness, strengthen brotherhood, and build a life filled with peace and blessings.

Happy Commemoration of Isra’ Mi’raj of Prophet Muhammad SAW 1447 AH.

May this meaningful occasion bring peace, blessings, and steadfast faith to us all.
