Public Lecture: Big Data in Political Power Networks
Thursday, September 30, 2021, at 09.00 WITA, the general lecture of the Political Science study program, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Udayana University will be held online via Webex. This public lecture has the theme "Big Data in Political Power Networks" by presenting Dr. Catur Suratnoaji, M.Si, as the author of the book Social Research Methods Based on Big Data and at the same time as a lecturer from UPN Veterans East Java, and guided by Dr. Tedi Erviantono, S.IP. M.Si as the head of the coordinator of the Political Science Study Program, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Udayana University. The public lecture was attended by around 189 political science students at Udayana University, both batches from 2018 to 2021, and also several lecturers from the political science study program, Udayana University.
This public lecture discusses the method of using Big Data that focuses on social media in political science. The purpose of choosing the theme regarding Big Data in this Public Lecture is to introduce and arouse participants' interest in the use of Big Data in political science research.
