PUBLIC LECTURE: DEVELOPMENT AND SOCIO-ECOLOGICAL CRISIS: POLICY DIRECTIONS AND POST-DISASTER GOVERNANCE IN BALI
Denpasar, Tuesday, November 4, 2025. The Political Science Study Program, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP), Universitas Udayana, will organize a Public Lecture entitled “Development and Socio-Ecological Crisis: Policy Directions and Post-Disaster Governance in Bali.”
The public lecture is organized as part of the Study Program’s efforts to broaden students’ academic perspectives on the relationship between development, socio-ecological challenges, public policy, and post-disaster governance in Bali. The topic is particularly relevant for understanding contemporary development challenges and their impacts on communities and the environment.
The public lecture will be held as follows:

Venue: FISIP Hall, 4th Floor, Sudirman Campus, Universitas Udayana
Through this activity, students are expected to gain a more comprehensive understanding of policy directions and governance approaches in addressing various social and ecological challenges following disasters. The public lecture also provides an academic space for students to critically examine public policy issues within their social and environmental contexts.
This Public Lecture is mandatory for all active students of the Political Science Study Program, Universitas Udayana.
The Political Science Study Program, FISIP, Universitas Udayana, continues to promote academic activities that strengthen students’ capacity to understand political issues, public policy, development, and socio-ecological dynamics in society.
