RESEARCH VISIT: POLITICAL SCIENCE LECTURER CONDUCTS OBSERVATION AT BULELENG CULTURAL OFFICE
Tuesday, September 2, 2025 — A lecturer from the Political Science Program at Udayana University, Dr. Tedi Erviantono, S.IP., M.Si., conducted a research visit to the Buleleng Regency Cultural Office. The visit was officially received by the Secretary of the Office in the meeting room of the Cultural Office.
This activity is part of the implementation of Udayana University’s Flagship Research Program, focusing on the study titled “Public Budgeting of Type C Regional Museums in Indonesia: The Sarkofagus Museum of Gianyar Regency and the Buleleng Museum of Buleleng Regency.” In addition, the activity also supports the enhancement of lecturers’ competencies in museum curation through an internship program as a volunteer at the Buleleng Museum during the period of July 10 to September 10, 2025.
This research aims to explore the experiences, perspectives, and management practices of regional museums in responding to policy changes, as well as the importance of cross-sectoral support in strengthening cultural institutions.
This initiative reflects the tangible contribution of Political Science academics in advancing public policy studies within the cultural sector, while also strengthening collaboration between higher education institutions and local government agencies.
